- Anastasia, we remember that you made your debut in the main draw of WTA tournament here in St. Petersburg 5 years ago. What achievements are you especially proud of since you made your debut? And what are your feelings and thoughts coming back to the Northern capital of Russia this year?
- Yes, indeed, I made my debut in the professional tour in St. Petersburg five years ago. I am incredibly happy about it because St. Petersburg is one of my favorite cities. It's always nice to come back to the Northern capital of Russia. All my successes during this season are important for me. This year has been the most successful in my career, and that tells me that my team and I are moving in the right direction, we are working for 100%. I hope that next season I will be able to show even better results and rise in the ranking even higher.
- Can you name your favorite places in St. Petersburg please?
- When I visit St. Petersburg, I have a short time, because all my visits are mainly related to tournaments and matches. But as soon as I have free time, I really enjoy visiting restaurants, for example, “Koryushka” is my favorite, I also like to go to “Mansarda” restaurant. Among historical places I like the Church of Savior on Spilled Blood and the Hermitage.
