- I’m very glad to return to St. Petersburg. I haven't missed a single St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy tournament, so now I am returning to the Northern capital of Russia with the great joy. There will be a tournament of a new format, I think this is the great opportunity to prepare for the new season. There will be good players and interesting matches, many unforgettable moments.
- How would you describe this season? Are you happy with how it turned out for you?
- To be honest I expected great results from myself during the season. But at the same time, I cannot complain because I won the second title of my career this season [WTA 500 in Tokyo], so I achieved a “B” mark this season.
