The Serbian tennis player Laslo Djere (ranked №33 ATP) shared his expectations about the upcoming international team tennis tournament the North Palmyra Trophies.

This year he will play for the team «Lions» and his team captain will be Svetlana Kuznetsova. And his teammates are: Anastasia Potapova, Alexander Shevchenko and Viktoriya Tomova.

«I really like St. Petersburg. I have been there three times. I haven’t checked the weather forecast but I definitely expect the cold weather. Last year, I think, the was also a bit of snow. I actually like snow, so it would be nice if there would be some. I definitely plan some cultural program in St. Petersburg, I have seen a little bit of the city but this time I want to spend more time exploring the city, the most important places, buildings and sights. I look forward to it.

I am not going with too big expectations to the exhibition tournament, my goal is to enjoy it and try to play good tennis. And also, to bring a good atmosphere, so people can watch it and enjoy it but of course every time I am on the court, I want to win. It will be the same this time as well. And yes, tennis is an individual sport but I like team competitions, it is nice to have this change sometimes».
