In the semifinals Milovanova overcame Daria Egorova — 3/6, 6/3, 10-8.
The 16-year-old Daria Egorova and Victoria Milovanova had the task of opening the tournament. The girls proved to be competitive, delivering a tough match with numerous long rallies and a battle in every game.
The Rostov-on-Don Egorova, after making a break towards the end, secured the first set. At the beginning of the second set, she saved her serve after facing several break points, but towards the end, she couldn't hold on—Milovanova leveled the score in the match.
In the tie-break to 10 points the players contended for the chance to enter the final. The battle was intense, featuring spectacular rallies and precise shots from both sides - 3/6, 6/3, 10-8.
However, it was not without errors. A failed drop shot from Daria, incidentally not the first in the game, gave her opponent a match point. In the next rally, Victoria closed in on her opponent, forced her to send the ball into the net, and celebrated the victory and entry into the final.
Darya Shadchneva and Ksenia Smirnova will be competing for the second spot in the final.
